About UsNetwork Movement for Youth and Children’s Welfare (NMYCW-SL) is a civil society organization that works towards Youth, Children’s and Women welfare. NMYCW-SL was established in 2004 to develop and implement programmes that help alleviate the suffering of children, women and youths affected by deny of their Economic Social and Cultural Right (Human Rights) such as education, water and sanitation, food etc.
Vision, Mission, Goal and Values: Vision: We envisage the eradication of all forms of abuse against Women, Children and full empowerment of young people in governance and developmental initiatives. Mission: to enhance the needs and welfare of Women, youth and children, we are committed to facilitate and coordinate with likeminded organizations to equip, promote & monitor human right issues, Open society and poverty eradication. Goal: to perform as an organization that meets the needs of women, youth and children’s through grass root and right based initiatives. Values: “Transparency and Accountability, Dedication and Commitments, Solidarity with the Poor, Respect for all Humanity” |
Who We Are |
We are young community activists and human right defenders based in depress communities around the country. (Kono,Kenema, Makeni, Moyamba and Freetown. For the past years the network has been active in advocating for Youth,Women and Children also provide mobilization supports to bigger organization and coalitions nationwide. We have been working with positive organizations in Sierra Leone to meet our objectives, such as Global call to action against poverty, National Election Watch, Ministry of Youth & Sports/Youth Commission, Democracy Sierra Leone, Network Movement for Justice and Development,Society for Democratic Initiatives,District Youth Councils. etc.
